Excellent smaller chewy or bagel and I'm used to and what I think of is New York style. But I guess someone in one review said these are Montreal style but I didn't bother to ask. I like a denser bagel and I'm very fond of Iggy's in Cambridge Massachusetts so these fit my ideal well. It's a cool place in an old industrial building with some other neat businesses down by the water. Great coffee and the bagels come right out of the oven in front of you so it's cool to see everything being made. Friendly efficient service and help and they did a lively business early in the morning when I was there at 6:30 a.m. very definitely worth a try if you love bagels

Delicious, fresh bagels. We tried a "kitchen sink" (everything+Montreal spice) with lox and veggie cream cheese plus all the trimmings. It was excellent. Good, strong drop coffee too. The service was fast but personable. No line on a weekday morning.

They are slightly softer and obviously smaller than NY bagels. However I feel they are not as good as the ones in St-Viateur Bagel in Montreal. Myer’s Bagel are not soft enough and still gets dry within hours. This is still a good option if you don’t want to cross the border to Canada.

Fine little bagel shop. Loads of options for your boil doughy wood fire treat. They are smaller than a NY bagel, with a bit more of a bite/crunch. My bacon egg and cheese, on an everything was good, but the bagel lacked any salt, (see below) which detracted from the balance of the breakfast sandwich. Not sure if that's the norm or not.

Yes. My wife has Celiac (ends up in the hospital when she gets 'glutened' ) and she feels comfortable eating Lloyd's bagels. They make them first thing, in a fully cleaned and prepped bakery. There is shared equipment, but it is all stainless and VERY well washed. If it wasn't for Lloyd's commitment (yes, he is COMPLETELY INSANE) to his craft, I wouldn't trust my wife's health to a shared space, but a 20+ year history with him has built this trust!
Yes I'm holding a bag of their gluten free Montreal spice bagels. Ingredients: water, white rice flour, stone ground tapioca, eggs, xanthan gum, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, Baker's yeast, Montreal steak seasoning, garlic, black pepper, oregano, parsley, basil, Italian seasoning.
