Spoke to the leasing department on the phone they insisted that I come in to fill out an application. Got off work early to be there and the. Was treated very rude by the lady cut off when talking and then shot down. Unbelievable how rude that was. The fact that they couldn’t discuss things over the phone. But had to take time off of work to come to the apartment to be treated so rudely! Very unprofessional and no manners in the leasing department. So inconvenient and inconsiderate!!

I have lived at lakeside for going on 3 years this January of 2017. When I first moved here, a few weeks in my house was broken in to (Forgot to lock the patio door). A week after that my car was broken in to as well. This place has its ups and downs, but if you are smart you can live just fine! Make sure to lock up everything, Don't leave valuables visible in your porch, and in your car.....You should be just fine! Most importantly, Don't interact with any negative people; be polite. The apartment it self is nice! there is plenty of space, everything is renovated, and you even have a walk in closet. If you take my advice verbatim you should have a pleasant stay. Blessings!

I moved in April 2013 and they were still renovating. I got all new floors, a refrigerator, stove, sink, toilet, patio and paint!!! My apartment overlooks the pool, cool. and the Laundry room is steps away from my apartment. The staff is great until you get behind on your rent and they WILL Evict you so be punctual with Rent! I love the new Fitness Center and Playground, not to mention the day care and senior center!! Yes, my car was broken into, BUT, I left my doors open overnight. THAT WAS STUPID!! They have security NOW, but the homeless people still come go through Garbage and leave it on the ground unfortunately. It is very close to the Bay Fair mall, several grocery stores, Dollars Stores, pet stores, Bart and Bus systems. I actually love it here!! Great Place to live.

Very unsafe place to live! Group of thugs were trying to steal the tires off my car when my boyfriend saw them and started yelling. They ran off but not before slashing all of my tires and broke the fender on my car. When I called to report it the management team told me there is nothing they can do. I inquired about putting up video cameras and they said I would need to put in a suggestion with the construction crew. I called four times and left a message for them to call me back each time...still waiting for a response three months later. Management is negligent and rude. I received a notice to sign some papers that should have been signed when I moved in. I had to go in three times to fix the problem. Even after I signed the papers I still received harassing phone calls and notices on my door about the same document. I had to go in and argue with them that I have already signed the document three times over with them. What are they doing with my paperwork? Makes me really afraid that they are negligent with my personal information.

Besides getting my work van broken into twice a year for the past 6 years and stolen once stripped of everything after being found in Oakland, having a 20 year homeless camp behind the apartments, finding needles in the parking stall next to yours, tenants leaving garbage outside their door because they are too lazy to take it to the everyday overfilled garbage bin which is always filled and dirty because people who don't live there dumps their garbage and furniture in the bin. The "security" they have I never seen them since I been here in 6 years. My neighbor been here for 9 years and only seen security once riding on a bike. Wish the were around to catch car thieves. All this can easily be fixed cameras or a gate like every other apartment building in San Leandro. This is the only apartment complex in San Leandro without gates. I went so far as to put a chain around my steering wheel and lock it to the brake pedals and the thieves cut the steering wheel and slipped the chain off.

I have only seen one lay out but it was nice spacious from the front door you enter and on the right is kitchen overlooking a living area"front room" then balcony and to the left is a room divider/partition that acts as bedroom sleeping space so you can have privacy or open it all up to one big space, oh the bathroom is also on the left. Cute place for a solo act and they are pet friendly. Nice pool area's and neat waterfalls and ponds to walk around.
