FASNY Museum of Firefighting

Great place for kids! There are a ton of interactive experiences including an obstacle course, firetrucks to climb into, and a fire brigade to put out a pretend fire. Spent about 2 hours here. We didn't get to see Molly the dalmatian this time.

Great museum for kids! Tons of interactive components! My kiddos loved the bucket brigade activity, the discovery room, and getting to climb into the firetrucks. They also loved visiting with Molly, the museum's fire pup 🚒👩‍🚒

The FASNY Museum is beyond awesome. The quality of their apparatus collection is beyond amazing. There are over 90 to see. We were blown away at the with the friendly and knowledgeable staff. Sarah was so great to us. There is so much to see and really great activities for adults and children. The volunteer and 9/11 collection a must see. My Dad who has been a volunteer firefighter for 60 years, and I enjoyed ourselves immensely. It is one of the best collections in the United States. Highly recommend.

This is a fantastic place to bring the little ones. We had a 3 year old and a 6 year old with us and they had an absolute blast!!! This certainly kid friendly. They have a kids fire 🔥 related experience area,a display area for children and the kids can sit in a real fire truck. They have uniforms and coats kid size they can wear. It was a daddy's photo opportunity heaven. They also have a lot of historical items to keep adults occupied. There's 2 floors with handicapped access. And handicapped restrooms. They have a gift shop with firefighters related toys and gifts that are reasonable. For what you get the admission price is well worth it. If you have a 3 to 8 year old that loves fire trucks and firefighters 🚒 this is the place to go.
