What a great hidden gem in Sarasota. This place is perfect because they offer a wide variety of sandwiches with all fresh ingredients. The homemade sausages are delicious. Do yourself a favor go with an empty stomach and a healthy appetite.

When traveling, anytime I can find an authentic Italian deli I feel right at home. Piccolos is in a little strip on the south end of Sarasota and is about as real deal as you can get. Lots of freshly made Italian treats. They put together a nice charcuterie for me to take back to our rental to enjoy. The prices are very fair for the quality you get and the staff very friendly and helpful. Grazie!

Piccolo's is one of the best Italian delis in the city of Sarasota. Yes they do sell Italian pasta sauce. Either meatless or with meat.

We have eggplant Parm, eggplant rolatini, and sometimes eggplant caponata.
as far as my eyes could see, .I LUVVV the miniature peppers stuffed with prosciutto, and sharp Aunrico provolone, superesod, with fresh,..real Italian bread, that melts in your mouth, on the inside, and the hard Delicious crust on the outside.. ....I'm getting hungry.....
