You can try St. Claire which is name of "road, drive" where you exit for Sandy Point Park. Hope this might help. The park sits at the foot of Bay Bridge, so options for hotels would be Kent Ialand which iseast of Bay Bridge, or Annapolis which is on the same side of Beach 'west 50". Good luck.

Even though you have a pavilion you do want access to the beach that is primary the reason for coming to Sandy Point, to enjoy the beach.

Fishing from the shoreline is permitted in designated A couple fishes at Sandy Point's South Beachareas. There are several rock jetties in the park and a fishing pier located next to the boat launch ramps. But Chesapeake Bay Sport fishing license is required for those 16 and older.

You don't have to give a reservation to get into the park but I remember seeing a sign that grills were taken and full so I'm going to have to look myself to see if you have to register or is first come first serve. But you can always bring your own Grill I saw that there too.
