Wonderful property and the updates are beautiful! Elena in the office was informative, professional, and kind-hearted. The apartments are a great size for the price and the floor plans are unique and comfortable. Very close to shops, restaurants (some even within walking distance), and the interstate. Yet the property is quiet and feels very residential. Great place!

They care about the landscaping more than the indoor maintenance. The floors all have soft spots. The appliances are very cheap. The hot tub is never hot. Been here 6 yrs. New owners/mngmnt within the last 2 and even though they are increasing everyone’s rental costs at time of renewal, the hot tub still doesn’t work and there has been no updates to our apts. These people are insane. We’ll be moving when our lease is up in a few months. Our rent will be going up an additional $650 a month! No thanks. You can keep it! Ohhh and there’s an ant problem here. We get them in every room! And we’re not on ground level.

Over nine years at The Lakes and loved it there. Well maintained buildings and grounds. Apartments have high ceilings and thick walls (1st floor apartment, rarely heard upstairs neighbors, only occasionally heard their dogs), maintenance was always quick to respond whenever I had an issue. Management was great, Melissa and Ashlynn were always nice and responsive whenever I called. Plus, I loved that the office holds your packages for you. Complex location is good too. It's close to I-75 (one exit up from the 275 split) and about 10-ish miles away from Veterans on the other side. Note that 54 itself is really busy though, especially by the outlet malls. There's a Publix and Belks right in front of the complex, within walking distance, and several restaurants too.
