This company produces the highest quality mobile home available. The problems associated with the purchase is actually getting the new home. It takes months. After the home is delivered you can expect it to be finished at the discretion of the vendors used. They are generally high quality workers but their work loads are huge and spread across a very large area. The company that moved the home,“Florida Movers”, is second rate at best. The slopped the house in place and left. It took a lot of modifications and a State Inspection to get the home placed properly. After that, Skyline did an excellent job of finishing our home. It is a beautiful, well made home. Many thanks to the factory manager, Kent, for his follow up when we needed it.

The quality of Skyline manufacturer homes are not as good as others. They qualifies design is but some of they workmanship is below in experience craftsmanship. There are numerous mistakes in the home I brought. Skyline warranty is only for one year, but trying to get them to repair items that were not working properly and to repair the sliding that was separating from the side of the house was impossible. Had to tell them I was going to contact a lawyer before they finally found time to repair everything. Buy beware,

My wife and I purchased a new home built by skyline manufactured homes. There were a few minor repairs needed which the house was under a one-year warranty. Most repairs were done in a relatively reasonable timeframe. Except for one. We have two broken drawers in our kitchen that they apparently refuse to replace. Numerous emails have been sent and basically ignored. Use caution with their service department they tend to blow you off.

My husband And I drove to Ocala from Clermont to look for our future home. I saw on the website that Skyline had modular and manufactured homes, so we were excited to visit. When we arrived, my husband walked inside and was somewhat greeted by a person( man) sitting at a desk who clearly did not want to be bothered by us. When my husband asked him about modular homes, the man replied “we don’t do modular homes, but everything on the lot is open your free to look”. Sooo, we walked to the first door... locked. Walked to the second door...locked. Sooo, we went BACK to the office, and I suppose this person was watching something on his computer at this time. We informed him the doors were locked and asked if he could open them. He got up, walked outside “whistling loudly”, not speaking to us, just whistling, and he opened the 2 doors. When he asked why we weren’t looking at manufactured, I stated my husband preferred Modular to which he replied “their both manufactured, there’s no difference”. Ooookay then. We proceeded to attempt to look at a few more homes after AGAIN, having to return to the office to get him to open yet another door, and we finally gave up. We had so many questions regarding construction, cost, etc, because I LOVED a few of the models, but there was clearly no one available to speak to us. In my opinion, this person does not represent your company or your product well. Perhaps he was just there to answer the phone? He definitely was NOT there to represent your company favorably.
