It be nice if your case worker calls you back. My mother is about to lose her section 8. They even stop paying their half now we owe months of rent.

I've heard some very good things about this property. I am actually trying to figure out where I get an application from. I was told it's on the Housing Athority of Ft.Myers However I've been all over that website & am unable to locate an application. I'm in dyar need to get into a place (through public housing) as myself, my husband and our 2 little girls. Are very close to being homeless. I've been told I need to fill out my application 1st,then get all the additional paperwork together and go "from there". ANY INFORMATION would be greatly appreciated. I hope and pray someone can send me in the rite direction so myself & my family can finally get into stable housing Thank you in advance.

I honestly can say they do work but is almost to impossible to get an appointment with the case worker almost all is via email and letters. Dina the supervisor is extremely nice and very detailed ππΌ

When I went in their to the office my dad got no help what so ever and was injured when my family and I were forced to live at a campground for over 3 weeks, we didn't even get to move in to the house until after 3 weeks and the inspection was already complete, because Akilah didn't take the extra minute to sign and send a fax back. If you are getting a worker there than pray that it is Susan . You can tell that Akilah is most likely racist towards Caucasian males. Even her co-workers in other departments say that she is slow.

I don't have to wait
No, Florida has no rent control at all
THE PROGRAM SAYS NO FELONY TENANTS BUT THERE ARE MANY FELONY TENANTS ON HOUSING PROGRAMS
Did you find out the price range?
Hey Holly. The first thing you would have to determine is what city in Florida you will be moving to then Google that city name along with Housing Authority. Hope this helps.
Well you have to register and wait maybe for a couple years.
Well, you have to apply in person and then wait for the number to arrive for a list.
Well, you must go there and ask in person.
No I don't know yet sadly, I'm still waiting for section 8 myself. But I will update everyone about once I know for myself
