I had a terrible experience with this Urgent Care location. Had x-rays done (by my request, according to the "doctor" or whomever I've seen I had clear lungs and was passing air etc) on Saturday. I was told to go home and they will call me with my results. I haven't heard from them for 5 days, then on Thursday decided to call to double check and apparently I had a double pneumonia. I had no symptoms at all so I wasn't following up. But whoever called me acted like I wasn't his patient, he wasn't my provider at the time. So it seems they just forgot to view my chart and x-ray report. They sent me to the ER and sounded like I am about to die. When in reality I only needed antibiotics. If the hospitals are so overworked and so busy why would the Urgent Care send me there when I have no symptoms. I still cannot believe they didn't call me for 5 days!!! Horrible service!!!

I've been to the urgent Care multiple times and always found the staff to be pleasant and accommodating. I see reviews where people say that they are slow and that they had to wait a long time but I will tell you after trying other urgent cares this one is better than most and they are connected with Lakeland Regional Health which is the local hospital. The last time I was there they were absolutely mobbed with people coming in over covid and I thought the staff did an amazing job given they were completely overwhelmed. And I don't blame them for being over whelmed what's going on right now it is nuts and every urgent Care center in Lakeland is super busy and dealing with staffing shortages because of the ridiculously high hospital rates.

I have been trying for days via call and portal to get a referral to have a study done yet the only answer I can get is that I have to make appointment with the office which is my primary Dr. Aye and see her before I can get a referral which my insurance BCBS does not require a referral so I still at a loss on why when it has already been documented that I have this issue and my last study was over 3 or 4years. Today I got the run around and was told to do contact someone else outside of LRH that is not a doctor to basically put me off on someone else. I then went to schedule appointment with another doctor that I seen for migraines hoping he would be better help and his first available is not til 10/2021! If you need care RUN do not go here they are only about you coming in everytime you need a referral to a specialist no matter that you DO NOT ONE WITH YOUR INSURANCE..

Received excellent care here yesterday! The nurse who took my vitals was professional, polite and super efficient at what she does. Loved the NP Paul, was such a nice guy, thorough and polite and respectful. Best urgent care I've been to so far.
