I liked it. The priest has a fun Irish accent, even if he does seem kind of tired. I wrote this on the day after Christmas, so he's of course allowed to be tired! They do a nice thing where kids too young for first communion come up for a blessing instead, which happens right after communion. I'd visit again.

We love this church the biggest thing for me is the Pro life things they support. I was arrested at many Pro Death clinics with Franciscan Priest and Holy Nuns from various orders it was terrible but today I look at all this in a way that possibly when I die Mother Mary and Jesus Christ will admit me to Heaven someday however I am still an activist on Pro life forever. I was a Pilot in the US Air Force and served 30 years I have credentials of missions bringing Asians to America 🇺🇸to save them from Communism. They are safe now and God bless us all. My wife and I are glad to live with you at Saint Pedro's

Poor and weak music leadership. They do not try to play any music that gets the church to sing. The music leader acts like she's giving her little recital of bad guitar playing. Very poor sound and amplification system. Priests have strong accents that are hard to understand. It does not at all have the feeling of a good spirit filled church. Seems like they are all just going through the motions and forgot how great of God we have.

My family and I have been to a few of the local Catholic Churches here in NP & in PC. However once we found San Pedro we just knew this was our Church Home. Everyone is welcoming and helpful. The kids are always involved in the youth group & their classes. My kids love coming here and best of all we LOVE our Priests & Deacons. They know us all. Meet us prior to church and again after. Definitely gives us a peace in our heart ❤️ when we’re @ the church & leaving.

They have a Mass in Spanish at San Maximilian church in Port Charlotte, not too far from there. I don't remember at what time, maybe 5 pm? (But I'm not sure). They have Mass in Spanish in San Maximiliano, a parish in port Charlotte near there. I think in Venice too, in the cathedral of the Epiphany ... but you should check the time

April Schnell of course it is okay to bring your son. At the end of the Mass they usually ask the children to go to the altar and receive a blessing from the priest.

The question is not at all silly. There is never anything wrong with inquiring about the Faith. An Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist is someone appointed by the Pastor to assist in distributing Communion when there are too many people for the priest to do so on his own in a timely manner. Given that the congregations of most Churches there days are rather large - particularly during season when out-of-state residents abound - Extraordinary Ministers are an almost permanent fixture at Sunday Masses by default...
