My granddaughter was here on vacation and wanted to go horseback riding so I had this place recommended to us. My granddaughter had such a great time she wanted to go back. The trainer was so nice to my granddaughter. She wants to come backto our house just so she can go back. Great place.

My daughter has been reading about horse and wanted hands on experience. When I called and spoke to the owner Mrs. Dolores she was kind and friendly. She answered all my questions and concerns. From the phone conversation I knew that the Shades of Green riding stable is where we were going to get that hands on experience. It’s was the best family experience we were able to feed the pigs, goats and got to ride the horse. Thank you Mrs.Dolores for such a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back.

Shades of green is one of the most relaxing and exciting places i’ve been. The owner Delores is very nice and caring. She does not leave children unattended and if she does there is some sort of adult there. I am one of the less volunteers and I absolutely enjoy coming here and I also love riding. They have an amazing lesson program and amazing other options. (Trail rides, pony spa, etc.)
