Nine months ago, I was in such an awful state. I was just recovering from being unemployed for almost a year. My credit had taken a nosedive. I had been struggling through my last few semesters of college, working at a non-profit for less than optimum wages to get the experience I needed to get licensed. I was two years behind on my taxes. I needed a new roof, and they were canceling my homeowner’s insurance policy. I was struggling to pay my car note and utility bills. I had maxed out all my credit cards. My student loans and credit made my debt to income impossible to obtain a mortgage. I almost lost my house. Danny took the time to walk me through obtaining a hard money loan. He spent hours on the phone reassuring me that we could save my house and more importantly, my sanity. He was honest from the beginning and told me that the loan he could get me was a Band-Aid but would give me the ability to save my home, build up my credit, and give me some much-needed reprieve from my financial situation. It has now been almost 9 months, and through very hard work, I was able to rebuild my credit and refinance this mortgage into something that I can manage. My life has certainly improved significantly since I first met him, and I offer my gratitude in helping me get back on my feet.
