Jasper Engines & Transmissions

I own a 2 store family operated tire & automotive center in west central Florida and we have used Jasper several times for engines and transmissions. The units we got have been very good quality but one transmission we installed had issues. We tested it and checked everything Jasper asked us to and it was defective. Jasper sent us another unit, we installed it, and problem solved for the customer. Begin new problem for my small business: Jasper calls us and relays to us that they have tested the defective unit and there is nothing wrong with it. (Meanwhile the second one they sent operates perfectly and our customer, a FedEx contractor, is very satisfied) They also state they will pay us $25/labor hour for the swap because "They're feeling nice". I called the warranty department and plead my case to them and they upped the payment to $38/labor hour which is what I pay my tech that changed it. Long story short, their product failed and they didn't stand behind it. It cost me to replace it and it should not have. They didn't even offer to refund for the fluid I had to put in it. If you need an engine or transmission, I strongly suggest getting it from someone that stands behind their products better than Jasper does.

Horrible quality....within 3 yrs I had to warranty my transmission out 2 times...my 3rd transmission went out today...Garbage quality... can't even put 20k miles on it before they go out...trash... I'll never buy Jasper again....my OEM transmission had over 350k miles on it and still worked perfect i should of just left it in

Ordered a refurbished Marine Mercruiser 5.7 and got an engine and a friend. Jasper holds one of the best customer service I have encountered in particular because of their people. Products are awesome and its employees even more. One tip.... ask for Jake :)
