I got most of my cats from this place. I love that you can go into the cat rooms and interact with all of the kitties before you adopt them. You're able to hold them, kiss them, play with them. Whatever you want! We often frequent this place just to go interact with the cats, but it almost always ends up with us adopting another one! They also have dogs, but we don't look in that section as often. Sometimes they'll also have small animals such as bunnies, which I love. The adoption fees aren't very expensive, and it's just a joy being able to interact with all the cats. ❤️

The doctor was very helpful to me. Showed positive concerns. I was very glad I came here. And very reassuring

Best place in Brevard county for help with animals and for getting the healthy animals. I got one of my dogs from them.

After recently losing my emotional support dog(baby) I knew she would want me to rescue another innocent soul. Well my angel sent me a new protector. Meet the incredibly sweet little house hippo, Joni. Her breed has a bad reputation, but this is the most outgoing, loving, social creature on the planet . You can tell the shelter took exquisite care of her (and every other animal there) . The staff was so patient and understanding when it came to how long it took for me to pick my new bestfriend ,and the amount of compassion displayed for my recent loss really helped me in the healing process. The shelter is immaculate, and the staff actually care about you AND the animals. 10/10 experience!

They Should
They are very helpful but busy. There number is the same both the vet and the adoption center.
Not sure, but they are very reasonable. The workers truly love. The animals here.
No, having people walk through the kennels is too stressful for the pups so you still have to look through the binder and ask for a meet and greet.
Our thrift stores do! We have one in Titusville and one in Melbourne.
If you can't afford it, let them know. There are programs, including the "Empty the pound month". Adoptions can be subsidized this way. I believe cats are very inexpensive to adopt. Small dogs, I believe, are adopted by lottery.
They will take unwanted animals
We have a donation link on our website: www.spcabrevard.com. Thank you so much!

SPCA of Brevard does not offer animal pick up. However, if you or someone you know are looking to rehome an animal, please reach out to Becky at 321-567-3615 ext. 284. Becky handles all of our intake and appointments.
Yes
We try very hard to accept animals by appointment only. We only have space for so many pets, so we ask that you contact us, speak with our Intake Coordinator and schedule the drop off. 321-567-3615 ext. 284
Yes Food blankets toys treats etc...the food goes to a program where if someone cant afford to feed there animals they can volunteer for one hour a month and receive a months supply of food for there animal
When she does that put her in a carry crate. She is just jealous. Call a vet. That was your baby first. Show her love when your not taking care of the baby. Call a vet. She if she will do harm. I think she may need some medication and then she will be ok. But call a vet. Then if all else fails
I am not the SPCA, but everytime I have been in there (which has been often) I have never seen any rats there. Good luck in finding some. You probably would have a better chance of finding them at a pet store.
Please someone help me help them!
