My mother has been in River Commons for several years now and my family are so glad we found the perfect place for her! These COVID times have been difficult for everyone and all the staff has stepped up to plate to really give the residents super care like none other. They instantly protected the people by quarantining to save lives when the COVID came into play. The current staff is so dedicated and they take on many more roles to help out in any way they can. The cooks in the kitchen always prepare such delicious food and their desserts are fit for kings!!! Sue Perkins, the manager sees the residents daily with a temperature check and brings every meal to the folks and cleans up afterwards. This is a very small and homey independent living place so everyone knows everybody. They provide programs so the residents have something fun to look forward to! Thank you so much for all your continued care. It means so much to all of the families. Lots of love to all of you!

My Dad moved to River Commons in Port Charlotte, FL in February 2020. We couldn’t have found a more perfect place for him to live. He loves it. He is 93 years old and has made many friends. The staff there is remarkable. I met many residents and staff while I was there helping Dad move. His cozy apartment is the perfect size. I told my Dad, how many 93 year olds can say they live in the Penthouse, have a chef, a housekeeper, entertainment & transportation wherever he needs to go. Plus a great, friendly staff, and many new friends. 😃
