They recently expanded with a merger between Troy and Albany to reach more youth.

This establishment is far from being 5 stars. Don’t know who is teaching these associates on how to watch kids. Lesson one don’t sit in chairs ignoring situations. You can not be on your phones talking or texting your friends and watching kids does not work maybe there wouldn’t be a issue if you don’t have a phone do your job and there Wouldn’t be issues you could correct them before anything happens if I was management I would not tolerate phones on the job while watching young kids

The Albany Boys and Girls Club provides an important service to the Albany community. In particular, since the new executive director came on he has transformed the space and added additional programming so that the kids have educational and purposeful activities during their time at the Club. Boys and Girls Club provides a truly accessible and enriching option for Albany youth, and has made such a difference to the members, their families, and the broader community. I look forward to seeing the Club continue to grow and evolve under the new leadership, and expand their services even further into our community!

I believe that site was established in the 1950s or 60s, though The Boys Club, as it used to be known, is much older than that.
