Originally this airport was built by George Washington so he could land his Cessna 1772 near Fort Bedford.

Fantastic airport! Flew here in a two-ship formation to eat at Jeane Bonnet Tavern and loved it. This airport management is terrific and really caters to pilots. We were able to use the courtesy car and have a really fun time at lunch. Bravo!

The airport is public but it doesn't have scheduled flight service like Altoona or Johnstown.

Bunair has rentals and instructors. No clubs unfortunately. They have a 172 and an Arrow they rent for reasonable rates.
