Worst hotel I ever stayed in. Should've spent a few extra bucks for a better place and the phrase you get what you paid for doesn't apply here because they didn't even meet the minimum for excitability for health department codes.

Owner was very rude. I arrived in the pouring rain and didn't know my tag #. I wrote down the year, make, model and color of my car but the Owner demanded the tag #. Gave me the registration form to write it on and I returned she complained that the form was wet and dabbed it with wadded up toilet paper. I never saw more than 4 cars in the parking lot and none matched mine. No housekeeping service. No clean towels and the trash wasn't emptied during my 3 day stay. Heater blew cold air. No glasses in the room and while they did have an ice machine, there was no ice bucket. Had great benches outside of the room but Owner stared at us when we were sitting outside and never asked if we needed anything or were enjoying our stay. Bathroom counter was covered in peeling contact paper and the entire place looks like it was painted by a 4 year old. Owner takes no pride in the property. I love quaint older hotels and the quirks that come with them but this was a big disappointment. Owner treated us like squatters instead of paying guests. This could be a great hotel convenient to the wonderful town of Bedford if it had new owners.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Very dirty! No toilet paper in the room. White marks on headboards. Sheets and plow cases had orange/red stains. Base board and chair layers of dust. Room states nonsmoking smelled like an ashtray.

Staff was super attentive. He greet ed me by name when I walked in. The room was clean and the bathroom had a 50s retro vibe with pink and black tile. I really debated a five star review. You can tell that it used to allow smoking and that smell just seeps into the walls. It was fine when I tucked my nose under the covers.
