As a former associate at Avante I immediately felt welcomed by other associates and staff. I was blown away by the team work and dedication staff have towards the residents. My mother-in-law was a resident while in rehab. My mother-in-law had Parkinson's and was really difficult to handle but they were kind to her, even when she wasn't kind to them. I got to know some of the long term residents and they will forever be in my heart. Many are like a family to one another and it's good to watch. Also, please don't forget to think about going and visiting or doing something kind for the residents there! They appreciate the smallest amount of affection and many have no one to visit them!
