Very quaint theater. Good quality screen and sound system. I was surprised. Concessions were priced great too. Best soft pretzel ever!!

1st time seeing a show at the Capitol... Stryper on 5/23. The band sounded awesome, a perfect venue for a rock show like this. Nice interior, seats, & nice staff as well. They did a great job upgrading this theater while retaining it's historic value. π

Really beautiful theater with comfortable seats and nice acoustics - at least from the second row. Be prepared for metal detection security checks. They sell wine and beer before the show. Parking looed limited, I recommend taking an Γber (I did). I saw Richard Marx (acoustic) who, after all these years, is still phenomenal and has an album coming out shortly. He played some songs which are even better than those that were hits in the 80's.

Such a great place to see a concert, cool, intimate old theatre in a beautiful section of town, lots of restaurants, easy parking, live music outside. I have attended MANY shows here, love it.

Valet, street or free lots around. Easy parking. What are you going to see? The theatre is awesome.
There are several choices within walking distance from the theater. I went to a Mexican place across the street.
Valet parking may be available, however, use this link for parking information. Just click on downtown parking. Link is www.myclearwater.com/parking
there always seems to be plenty of parking on the side street. There are two free lots
No. Not available at this time according to an email I received from the theater.
Hi Bonnie~Check the website...surely you will LOVE the shows/concerts....we always do!
It's a little more subtle than that. For example there's an upcoming show where vaccine or test results are required.
They cancelled tomorrow night's show. Maybe they are taking it one day at a time
Yes, you can Uber. Anywhere around Clearwater and Largo and St. Pete. But in RV park you'd be better off looking in Largo, Florida. Cuz I don't believe there's a lot in Clearwater. Hope that was helpful.
Right over the bridge is alot of nice beach hotels
Public parking lot's abound.
Larry is 100% correct. Obviously no smoking inside and once you enter your in. No reentry. Bring you Niccoret! (Sp)
On the north side of the building, facing Cleveland Street.
I'm unaware, you van look it up on Google.
No, I believe that the city owns it
It is owned by the City of Clearwater and managed by Ruth Eckerd Hall.

Not far. It looks like they have the miles and time above.
Can't help you. Sorry
Although I sat up in the balcony, I didn't think first row was too close. People were having a blast
Yes but sometimes they get backed up and I've been asked to drive around and come back in 10 minutes because the valet spaces where you drop off your car can hold only 3 cars or so. Best to arrive early and avoid the rushing you can.
The floor seating area is comfortable, but the balcony.. not so much. There is little or NO legroom with most of the seats. Very uncomfortable.. Buy floor seats if at all possible. I love this place.. have been to many, MANY concerts & shows here. A fabulous renovation was done on the Capitol, and it is "SPLENDID". Try the roof-top bar! Relaxing, but small.. go early so you can sit & enjoy the view! There is parking all over the place, you just have to look!
"Closed show"? "Alan Jackson"? If it isn't on the website it isn't happening.
Not sure check website
