Costco Car Wash

At 7.99$ the price is great. However my rubber siding on the roof of car got ripped costing me more $$ to fix.

Oh yeah! $8 for a supreme wash. You put your car in neutral and it towed you through with a bunch of other cars in a efficient fashion. The tires come out super clean and they also spray armor all so your tires are nice and shiny. Worth every penny. Must be a Costco member though.

It's a $7.99 car wash based on that, it deserves 5 stars. It's not the best car wash around of course, but it gets the job done. If it doesn't I pull around again, and usually the attendant will give you a rewash.

I spend a lot of money at Costco and usually appreciate the good service and products. I am not sure if many people realized that the car wash was broken during the 2nd and 3rd week in September. The right-side scrubbers were not working. I washed three cars during this period and none of them were washed on the right side. I called the administration office and complained. They said the part was being ordered from Canada and it would take some time to fix the issue, but they have decided to run the car wash machine anyway. Costco did not inform the customers or shut the car wash down. They told me to keep my receipt and I could get a free car wash with it. How many people did not realize this? It seems a little dishonest to allow customers to pay for car washes while Costco knows the car wash machine is broken. To make matters worse, my wife had her new car washed recently. The car had a dent and scratch on the right side. When this was reported to Costco, the car wash manager was very rude and acted towards her in a condescending manner. I will also mention that the scratch and dent was noticed within an hour after the wash occurred and the car was driven directly home so there was no chance of anything happening to the car between the car wash and when the dent and scratch was discovered. The result of this was a denial of responsibility by Costco and we can take this matter up with our own car insurance if we like. As mentioned earlier, I am a loyal Costco customer and these actions by the car wash manager and dishonest washes, while the car wash machine was not operating properly, have made me think twice about using this car wash again. Plus, the long lines to get a wash also suck!
