Pros: Rooms seemed reasonably clean, comfortable beds, conveniently located near Route 80 and many stores and restaurants. Cons: Very expensive, red ants in room, ridiculous prices at shop in lobby, rude housekeeping staff slamming doors early in the morning.

We stay there often to visit our son at ESU. We drive over 9 hours to get there. Upon check in last night at 10:30 PM the front desk attendant wasn’t at the front desk. (Which was fine). The people in front of us rang the bell. The attendant finally came out and gave them the item they asked for. Then when it was our turn to check in at 10:30 PM after driving all day. She ignores us and sits there counting her cash draw. There were 2 others waiting to check in behind us. It’s not like it was 2:00 AM. She was extremely rude and not polite to us at all. She treated us like we were an inconvenience for being there. My husband said, “Hello, how are you today we would like to check in”. She asked for his Id and credit card and didn’t even say hello. My husband is an Ambassador with Marriott for over 25+ years. He asked if we could get 2 waters and she said, “You will get welcome bags”. She was very unwelcoming! You think she would say, “Welcome, Mr. Villano and thank you for being a loyal ambassador to our member rewards program”. Like every other Marriott we stay in all the time. She didn’t provide any type of customer service. If she doesn’t like her job maybe she should get a new one?

Nice hotel for a last minute stay. It was super spotless and clean! I don't understand how this is only rates a 2 star hotel as we never staybat under 3, and I was so impressed! We came in extremely late, being too tired to drive through the Pocono Mountain night fog. The lady who checked us in gave excellent customer service, giving us a late night gift bag. Also, they happily extended our check out time to noon, so I could get some sleep. My only criticism is that the Breakfast hours are too limited.

The rooms was clean, we got a bigger room with a whole office area which was very nice and useful. Love that part of it, but the building needs a face lift. Mixture of old and new decor and the building looked very worn overall. Kind of hideous decoration in our room. We were comfortable and happy for the most part with the stay.
