It's a Safeway what can I say..it's quite a bit smaller then the one on mission and apparently they have a lot of theft issues there because it has tight security, which is a good thing. They have all the basics of Safeway the store is clean, convenient location..the back parking lot gets a little scary at.times tho, cause someone hit my car and ran from the scene..I know this because my car was not damaged when I went in to the store and when I came out it was..No one saw a thing. That's the only problem I've ever had there tho..I would say I go there about 1 or 2 times every 3 or 4 months..so not too often but that's as much as I can say.. Sincerely Amanda Sims

Great deals in vodka! The cashiers are nice and friendly. They also have a delicious bakery and sushi bar everyone should try. Try the pork buns!

I been here three times now, always in the early morning, store always looks clean and i see everyone always working hard. Parking lot was getting cleaned. Today i was getting some salads, it was well stocked and good deals. My experiences at this location had always been great.

Staff makes this Safeway location. They do a great job displaying and keeping the produce department well stocked and orderly - almost pretty. The deli staff are outstanding and create sandwiches that we've found to be better than other locations. The front checkout staff are fun and make the visit more than just routine. The store is smallish, but easy to get to and an excellent stop on your way in or out of Santa Cruz.
