Super new, well stocked and super friendly. I ran out of meds because I was on holiday but they gave me a refill immediately. No line. No wait. Excellent service! ❤️❤️❤️

I’ve been waiting for hours to get a phone call back to schedule an appointment. I started making phone calls to Kaiser at 9 am this morning to schedule an appointment and Kaiser told me to call Covered CA to settle an issue so I called Covered CA and they told me to call Kaiser….you can see how ridiculous this is already right? Turns out it was Kaisers fault not CC and so I dealt with that incompetence and now it’s been hours waiting for a phone call for an initial appointment. This is not the same Kaiser service (which used to be good) that I grew up with. They are WAY too big now and haven’t advanced in their appointment making systems.

Everything that is bad about California and Santa Cruz is reflected at this office. Please stay away at all costs. Very lazy and lackluster medical care. They want to get you in and get you out as fast as possible. The office finds every reason/excuse to cancel appointments. This is the very reason other states poke fun at California and also why Kaiser has a bad name. My supposed doctor is Joyce Orndorff (who I have never met despite 3 appointments made and cancelled). Some work part time hours at this office. I feel like I am dealing with immature millennial's on the phone, at the desk, and even the one doctor I did finally meet. Kaisers spends so much money now on sending messages and trying to put on a good front but in the end the proper care that is needed at this location does not exist.

The doctors are great but they have a front desk service rep who is rude, I have delt with her on 4 separate occasaions and all 4 times she was rude. After 20 years as Kaiser patient she is the only employee who seems as if she was not trained in the Kaiser ways. . Kaiser employees are always kind and helpful while this women seems annoyed by her job. Just checking in at this locations is a burden on her and she also violated patient privacy in Regards to my son. Having had only amazing treatment by all Kaiser employees this women who first name starts with K really stood out.

The Scotts Valley facility has an endocrinologist to treat diabetes and a variety of other specialists that hold occasional office hours. They say more specialists are being added, as needed.
yes you can. You have to pay ER copay depending on the plan. You do have to contact kaiser after visit that you used a out of network facility. # on back of insurance card. We had to use Dominican ER once. No issues !
The Scotts Valley facility has a very convenient lab.
