A beautiful spot in Santa Cruz for so many activities… I love to play golf on this very nice and challenging course and I have walked my dogs along the many trails that run all along the hills and ridges. There are baseball fields and playgrounds, large group picnic areas. And even a very nice disk golf course. I have been told that the mountain bike trails are also world class.

Went here for a mushroom foraging class and it was fun! It’s has various kinds of woods and plants, and not many people are coming here. I think it’s a good place for a bit hiking

Had a blast playing the disc golf course with some friends, definitely get a view of the wonderful scenery especially on a nice warm sunny day. I definitely recommend checking out this place if you're in the area, even for a hike or hitting the bike trails.

You can Drink All You want as fas as I know, They even have a Golf cart Bar On Fields Going Around In case you Ran Out of Drinks. I don't know anything about permits but, it doesn't mean there is no permits. We were there for a whole Day and no one ask for permits to Drink. Everyone we saw was just having a great time. ***Correction *** I was taking about the Golf Course At The La Vega, I'm sorry my Bad, You may need a Permit To Drink I didn't read question very well.
