There are many places one could obtain a selection of irrigation products and service. But finding a store where actual customer care goes beyond advertising slogans, demonstrated by employee behavior is rare. SF Urban Farmer store is one of those few real world places embodying a wide selection of parts, knowledgeable service people, and the highest level of customer care which can be experienced in real time.

I really need to update this because I just came from the store. I haven't tried to install any of the equipment yet. But what I can say is they had a large selection of irrigation supplies. A bunch of other stuff to like gardening tools etc. But I was just there to get a drip system. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff that help me put together everything. I walked in with a few photos of my garden and I walked out with everything I needed to set it up. Haven't done the install yet but when I do I'll try to update.

The Urban Farmer Store is hands down the best irrigation supply store in the bay area. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Everything you need for drip irrigation, pvc fittings and pipes, sprinkler heads, fertilizer , good hand tool selection, pond supplies, & the latest technology in irrigation timers. SF location newly remodeled. I have been shopping there for 15 years and they never disappoint.

Questions & Answers

Just bought a 1” RP Backflow (FEBCO ) installed by a plumber and it leaks. What do I do Now? Ref: 86086 on 07/15/20

RP's are installed where there are possible conditions for backflow, or backpressure, so the "leak" is very likely the RP doing its job dumping water that would otherwise cross contaminate your household potable water. That's what they do after an irrigation cycle. If it is a constant leak unrelated to an irrigation cycle, there could be debris lodged in the spring check assemblies from the installation, which could be dirt, solder, teflon tape, or pipe shavings. Most plumbers are aware of this possibility and flush out the system to avoid it.
