The doctor took his time to explain everything I had questions with. He was very thorough and complete. He has also suggested I exercise regularly, and change eating habits which have improved my overall health and back pain. Great doctor, sometimes there is a bit of a wait. But he is thorough and worth waiting for to answer all your questions, like he does for all the patients that see him.

Dr Parmer preformed surgery on me five years ago, I have suffered every day since. I have a large knot in my back that I have pain constantly with . When he did my surgery I was in St Mary hospital 7 days then they put me in rehab for 40 days, I had all kinds of infections. I have to walk with a walker. I never seen him the whole I was in that rehab place they sent me too. I ASK why I had this large knot in my spine and he said it was where he had put bone marrow, it was nothing to worry about. I have to set with a pillow at my back all the time, I have to sleep on my side. I don`t recommend him to anyone.

If you are looking for an Orthopedic Spine Specialist, who spends time, listening to your problem, educating you, explaining all possibilities of how you can get back to a possible pain-free normal life again, then you should consider seeing Dr. Parmar I never see a Doctor who spend so much time for all his patients, (Also don’t be mad if you have to spend a bit longer in the waiting-room !!) In the past I already had 2 low-back surgeries, I visited manyPain Management facilities who injected pain-killer in my spine. Unfortunately my lower back pain just kept getting worse. Finally I got referred to Dr Parmar. First I was really skeptical, with my long waiting Finally I get to see him. He invited me to his room, reviewed my MRI After that He started to explain me the MRI and told me where my pain is coming from. Analyzed my previous surgeries and pointed out where the problem is now. He showing me medical images and educational films to explain me, how a new surgery will help. Of course I was not happy, but he told that he is absolutely sure that he can made me a happy “painless” camper again. I visited him 2 times and by the second visit my trust of him growing over 100% and I agreed to try my third back surgery. Now I’m 40 days after a very difficult ( over four hours ) surgery and almost get back to normal life. My back pain is almost totally gone. Now I have to be really careful in this recovery time to keep for ever A PAIN-FREE LIFE. I am highly recommend Dr. Vikram S. Parmar and his friendly staff to you.
