The Residences at Annapolis Junction

I recently lived at The Residences at Annapolis Junction for six months as I finished up my degree at Johns Hopkins. Ultimately, RAJ was leaps and bounds better than the 16 other apartment complexes that I toured in Maryland. Everyone from the office to maintenance to cleaning staff are extraordinarily friendly, courteous, and welcoming. They all are very invested in their residents and truly wanted to help with any and all issues that may have come up. The cleaning staff also does a fantastic job of ensuring the grounds and overall apartment complex remain a clean space. Each time I filed a maintenance request, the maintenance staff was expedient and had the job completed and fixed properly within 15 minutes of me filing the request. Overall, everyone in the office (Lori, Asia, Jasimone, and Kristin) were absolutely wonderful. RAJ, hands down, has the best living area that I’ve lived in. Everything in the apartment was in pristine condition when I first moved in and it honestly looked brand new. During my stay at RAJ, I also rarely noticed any loud sounds from neighbors. Occasionally, you may hear footsteps above you, but it wasn’t anything too distracting. In order to enter the garage, the apartment complex, or your unit, you must have a designated key fob for RAJ. The parking garage is secure and has plenty of spaces available, even late at night. Additionally, the motion sensor lights in the garage were very helpful and comforting to have, especially after returning late at night. RAJ is relatively isolated in the sense that it’s not in the middle of a big shopping center or town. However, the isolated location can be very nice as there’s not an excess of loud noises. Regardless, your main shopping and grocery stores will be found nearby in Columbia or Laurel, which is about a 5-15 minute drive, depending on where you’re going. Also, the MARC train station is right across the street from RAJ, allowing for easy access to other nearby stations, though these trains do cause a certain degree of excess noise. Overall, this place was perfect to live in. Ultimately, I would have happily renewed my lease if I had gotten a job offer from absolutely anywhere in Maryland or DC. For the time that I did live here, it truly felt like my home away from home. If I ever return to the Maryland/DC area again, I will 100% be staying at RAJ again.

I have been here at RAJ since April of last year.. the staff members are all so pleasant. The maintenance guys are the best and awesome. Not mention the lovely pool, gym access 24 hours, not fighting for parking and 95% of the residence are considerate. I love where I stay and me and my wife look to upgrade to a bigger unit.. RAJ number one property on the east coast hands down!!

My first apartment. I’m super happy with this place. From the service to the maintenance everything is well done and professional. I truly have no complaints. I love the guaranteed utilities also. Thank you so much to all the employees here who make this place great. You won’t regret considering the RAJ as your new home.

Great place to live. People are very nice. Garage is inside the building and car and bikes are safe inside. Apartment closets are huge and the room are pretty big. The theater and stuff has been closed because of covid but they try to make you pay for it after hours which sucks.
