My name is jose parra, and Ive lived in tracy since 2016. I have no idea where to start, in 40 years this is the first review I have ever written. I would have rather brought a box of donuts or something, but I was told that a review was worth way more. On Friday march 25, 2022 I came to staples to make copies of very important documents (passport, real ID) and as you can imagine I forgot my documents at the printer. Well it wasn’t till Monday I realize I had lost my documents. On Tuesday I show up to the store, I went to the printing section and explained my situation, and they called the manager. Shortly a young lady approached and asked how can I help, I explained that I might have forgotten my documents there, I gave her all the information I had, she went inside to see if there was any footage or findbout if anyone turned it in. It took a while for her to come back, but when she did she had my documents at hand. I took a deep breath and I wanted to give her a hug, but it would have been inappropriate, to my understanding she went out of her way, called employees who were present that Friday, until she got to where my documents were put away. Yes I can see she was doing her job, but she could have also just looked in the safe and came back and told me its not there Mr. Parra sorry!!! But she didn’t n she did what she had to do, for the simple sake of it being the right thing to do. And that deserves every single praise. With this being said, i would like to thank Taples as a company, their whole staff at the Tracy center, but mainly the employees who were there that day Cristina, Catalina and Lydia for being so helpful, patient, and considerate of the situation. Thanks to their hard work i can now continue with my traveling plans and enjoy my vacation with ease. Thank you so much for your professionalism and hars work. Went to this store to pick up an online order and they had some dificulties at the register locating the order...i asked to speak with the store manager, James(he refuses to provide his full name). He didnt make any effort to help locating the order and instead offer us to cancel the order when the product was seating in the store shelf. He resembles the perfect character as a rude and unpolite manager, we would never visit staples again....officemax and officedepot earn a new customer today.

The two girls in the copy and print department were awesome! I needed some copies done for a special even that day and they saved the day! Great service! I will be going back to that store for copies and prints I need in the future

Wish I could give less than 1 star. I called to ask how much it was to print per page. I was left on hold for 20 minutes while I could here the person who answered the phone helping other customers. I tried to be patient. After 20 minutes I finally called back, and the manager told me "that there was no way for the worker to know how much it cost to print" and he was "busy ringing up customers" maybe he needs to figure out how to run things better. He also informed that 28# paper is exactly the same as cheap printer paper (ummm no-- maybe they're the same price but they are not the same). Basically not only were they rude AND wasted my time, but they gave me misinformation.
