My friend is in the guard and had come to Hagerstown from Tennessee. We visited during armed forces week. The server was kind and knowledgeable with explaining everything to him. Because he was in the military, he received a complimentary sandwich and as a special thank you for serving and for visiting from so far away, they brought out peach cobbler with a note on the tray that said thank you for your service. The cobbler was to die for (just the right amount of cinnamon to make the peaches warm instead of tart) and Mikey was thoroughly touched by the sentiment. I especially appreciate the mission and meaning behind your restaurant in addition to the always amazing food. Always 5 stars!

Mission BBQ in Hagerstown Md. is top notch. Food is consistently good, which is difficult to achieve with BBQ considering the large amount of food being served over long days to so many people. Jamie, asst. manager is amazing. She is welcoming, attentive and always helpful. Entire staff seems to really care about the “Mission” behind the restaurant, to help and support “Servicemen/woman.

Love this place! Great food and caring staff! Shout out to Amy, one of their staff, who made us feel so loved and appreciated! My coworker and I (both nurses) stopped on our way home. She took great care of us after a long day and is a great incentive to come back! Thank you Amy! We appreciate you too!!!
