I have never had the best experience with the Tire Center at the Costco in San Juan Capistrano, as I’ve always found the service technicians to be rude and less than uninterested in the job that they do. But today, I had such a terrible experience that I felt I really needed to share… I called the San Juan Capistrano Tire Center at 4:30pm. Told them that the tow truck would be at my home by 5pm and we would be there by 5:30pm. They close at 6pm. I told them that I had a screw in my tire and they said, “no problem, we’re not busy at all and you’re timing is great…bring it on by”. So I did. Got there at 5:30pm (traffic, but still on time). They told me that they don’t have the ability to fix this kind of thing 🙄 and that I would have to buy 2 new tires and that they couldn’t do it today! So I had to have it towed back…the tow costed me $112 and hours of my time. Long story short, DO NOT bring your car to Costco Tire for tire service. ALWAYS go somewhere you normally trust, even if they’re not open. We personally always got to Robbie’s Tire in San Clemente. What a waste of my time and my money, but more importantly, to be lied to and treated like that…never worth it even if you’re saving money!

Guys were nice but I waited a total of 2 hours and I did some shopping. I thought enough time was passed but then quoted another 45mins. I told him I would have done this a different day I’d I knew this was going to 3-3.5 hours. I was quoted 1hr-1hr30 mins. Whatever they quote you double the time.

Price is good, but it took over two hours for my tire repair to be completed. They also used the tools from my car and didn't put them back, they left the battery cover off and for some reason took off the air intake cover, left it off also. They also forgot to replace the tire valve caps.

I purchased my tires online. It took 3 weeks to get an appointment to put them on. I had a 11:00 appointment. The attendant said about an hour to an hour and a half. I came back at 12:45 they weren't done ir close. I had cold groceries in my cart and the guy could care less. They move as slow as molasses. I dont think they know what's going on. There was 8 cars waiting. Yikes. I recommend robbies in san Clemente. I will do that next time.

I think they only do tires, but you could try calling them
Yes. Best to make appointment
Wow! How unusual! I Normally receive excellent service!
Tucker Tires in Laguna Niguel will "usually" fix a tire for FREE. Obviously it depends if the tire is patchable. One way they generate new customers.
Yes at no charge if repairable and the tire was purchased from any Costco.
Costco does not have the capability to do frame alignment. They do offer lifetime warranty and road hazard repair or replacement as well as free tire pressure adjustments.
