I did not enjoy being apart of this healthcare system while in Los Angeles. It was as if my primary care favored male veterans more because it took me to complain to high levels for me to get treatment I needed which shouldnt be the case. I should not have to loose my composure and go back to where I am trying to leave to be treated. The point is to get better, not to trigger old parts of me and then be labeled.

I would give these folks 6 stars if possible. I worked at Cedars-Sinai here in L.A. for years but have my health care through the VA system. On the rare occasions I've had need to go there I've experienced nothing but the highest level of professionalism and service including today. Hand SALUTE to the entire ER staff

The VA in every department from financial to healthcare have the worst civilians I have ever seen. No integrity at all. Time management isn’t a thing with civilians

No, but the inpatient one is down stairs in basement. You can't pick up you meds there unless you went through emerency

I have no affiliation what so ever with the West Los Angeles Veterans facility. If you are currently at a Veterans facility, inform your doctor & parole officer. If no, you should seek another facility.
You can walk in now. Go to the tent south of Building 401. Or, start at the hospital main entrance - and they can guide you.
The main hospital, building 500, 1st floor. The medical office is on the west side of the building, towards the PX and canteen.
it may have been but I heard someone say that they didn't have to work at the hospital so it may have closed early if it opened.

Call the business office and ask about claims for reimbursement for treatment at a non - va facility
