Wow! My son treated me to dinner for my birthday. I never heard of the place so I was happy to try someplace new. OMG the food was so good!!!! I ordered lasagna and my hubby ordered ravioli. They we're both very good and we weren't disappointed in the portion size either. My son insisted I take a pizza home, because he said their Pizza is amazing.... So I ordered the Goo's Special, and I have to tell you it is my new favorite pizza now ! Goo's Corner Cafe, you have a new fan and I will come see you again next time I'm in the area!

Goos has been around since Nixon was in office... maybe longer! It is a great place to get good food and the prices aren't bad. The decor is a bit dated but it is par for an pld school bar and restaurant. The Goos special pizza is an unreal treat that is unique to Goos. Their fried hot peppers in garlic can't be beaten! The service is a little slow at times and there isn't a lot of seating available if you have more than 4 in your party, but there is a small room that can seat about 6 to 8. The original owner passed decades ago but this is one of those rare cases where a family member took over a establishment like this and succeeded in keeping the reputation and recipes intact. If you are a local, you already know about Goo's... if you are coming thru Mt Pleasant and want to grab a good meal without getting all dressed up, put this place on your GPS.

Says online they are open until 930....i called at 8:40 and they said they are closed......someone should really fix the online times.
