Acceptable campground. The platforms are fully rock which is not great for tent camping. Many spots are located in very close proximity to each other. The location is very convenient for many parks in the area.

It was amazing. An awesome weekend spent there. My son loved it . With all facilities, this was a great camping trip. Loved the lake and the time on it

There sights here are beautiful and there are multiple trails you can take. There are paths that take you to the falls and others that take you through the mountains. If you want to come bring a friend as it is only $3 per car when we went. …

Beautiful park, but the Cliff Trail to the upper falls wasn't as well marked as we would have liked. We got a little turned around, but found our way back to the path. Absolutely gorgeous view of the falls and stream.

Yes, some of the park campgrounds allow pets/dogs. Have to keep the leashed of course.

Thanks Timmy, I found the prices.
Hi Maria; William Houck is closed for the season until April 1, 2020. After selecting Cunningham State Park for reservations, on the reservation map William Houck is subdivided into Addison Run Loop, Bear Branch + Catoctin Creek Loops, and Deer Spring + Elderberry Loops.
It was intentional. They are restructuring the swimming area of the lake to better support the natural flow of water from storms and the stream. I think they were hoping to have it done before swimming season in the spring, but I have no idea if they're still on track for that or not. And yes there aren't any natural lakes or ponds in MD. Lakes. And ponds are caused by glacier depressions and there (apparently) were never any glaciers over our state.
It accommodates all three of those. So if you're bringing a travel trailer just reserve an appropriate spot and you're good to go
I think it would be, the trees are dense and there isn't a lot of stuff around to create a lot of light pollution
At the bathhouses there are large utility sinks that can be used for washing dishes. Ours didn't have a table or anything for setting clean dishes, supplies, etc, though.
The cabins are small although they can sleep several people.
