The room was very damp. There wasn't a continental breakfast. We had to ask for clean towels and the person wasn't to happy to give us some. The ice machine was broken. We left a day early because it was so bad.

The room stinks of BO. There are hair and crumbs inside the sheets which are worn thin and covered in little “pilling” balls - beyond old!! The coffee maker “disposable” coffee basket is melted,cracked, and doesn’t stay in because it needs to be DISPOSED of, but there is no replacement. The coffee cups and heat sleeves (both with Wyndham logos) don’t match up. The bathroom is old but really spotlessly clean!! We should have just left. Oh yeah, and even though it advertised that breakfast was included, it wasn’t.

We stayed one night at the Super 8 in Thurmont while traveling with our dog. We were hiking at Catoctin Mountain the next day and this hotel was very close by. Staff were friendly at check in and the room and bathroom were clean. The room was plenty spacious for the three of us and we overall had a nice stay. I would stay here again if visiting the area, especially with a dog.
