I was very skeptical about how good a 3 Michelin star restaurant could be and could it possibly be worth my 2 hour drive and the incredibly high prices. Well the restaurant was fabulous. Prie fixe menu but everything was prepared with perfect attention to detail and the food really was so much better. The wine pairings were also good. The rooms were very nice, but the bathrooms were small with no tub and just not quite at the same level of exquisite as the restaurant. The staff clearly bought into meeting their guests needs and we did not meet any staff who sincerely wanted to help in any way possible. I highly recommend this inn to anyone who wants to make the drive and drop a couple thousand dollars.

A very charming place. There is a garden right behind the restaurant with a pond. It is so nice to see the colorful fishes in the pond. We could not get a reservation, so we settled with walking around the facility. There is a boutique shop with fantastic products. The staff is so professional and polite. Everyone greeted us. Will definitely try to make a reservation for dinner.

Fantastic experience, couldn't have been better. My wife and I took a one-night trip out here as a celebration. It has been on my radar for awhile, but the stars finally aligned for it to happen. It is a lot of money for dinner and a one night stay, but I am dreaming of the next time we can go back. The room was lovely, the service (hotel and meals) was fantastic, and the meal was by far one of the best we've ever experienced.

Oh my goodness, what an experience! If this is on your bucket list, you won't be disappointed. The food is amazing, that's no surprise but from top to bottom, this place is just leveled up! Even the drive out to this place from DC is lovely. Go a couple hours early and wander around the charming little town. Despite being one of the most sought after dinner destinations in the DC area, there is no snobbery here. The service is warm, friendly and attentive (without being invasive) from the front of house to the servers to the kitchen staff to the chef himself. Every detail is meticulously planned and managed from the customized menus to each carefully handcrafted dish to the little box of treats you get to take home. All I can say is totally worth it!

Fixed menus prices and as the previous dinner said...pricey. But one of the best restaurants I've visited. With great wines I figure spending $500 to $800 each time I go.
Sure, but the food is so great you will want to eat there
I am not sure about pets at Inn at Little Washington but I would doubt it. Most of the B&B's nearby are pet friendly though. Gay Street Inn and White Moose Inn are nice and super-close to ILW so you can walk from there to dinner.
They really don't enforce a dress code, but most people dress business casual
I would agree with Amy. Expect to spend around $1,200 after taxes per night.

No its for inn guests only
I went over the weekend and you'll wear your mask until the food arrives. You'll also have to wear your mask when you go to the bathroom. All staff members wear their masks too. For social distancing, they've placed mannequins at tables to ensure there is good space between tables.
Since all menus come with 4 courses, what you can do is choose between menus in the same course. For example you can choose course 1 in menu 1 and course 2 in menu 2, and course 3 in menu 3, and course 4 in menu 1. As long as the dish you want to switch to is in the same course you want to replace, there should be no problem. I have done it many times in the past so should be no problems.
Room price does include the best continental breakfast you have EVER had. Just amazing!
