We found this gem when we were searching for dog-friendly places to stay near Fredericksburg, Virginia. It was magnificent, from the "Corn Crib" cottage we stayed in to the home-cooked breakfast to the beautiful grounds, to the gracious owners. Stevenson Ridge is rich in historical value both from its civil war history as well as the loving restoration efforts of 18th and 19th century dwellings done by its owners, the Spear family. It is a memorable place to visit.

It is a beautiful place, with great trails on which to walk. Our cabin was so comfortable, and attention was paid to every detail in order to create a period piece setting. It is a history lesson being on the property. Folks were delightful, and food was excellent. There is some highway noise to be aware of, but it is a tiny problem. We highly recommend it.

Beautiful venue and excellent staff! Grounds are well maintained and homes and cabins are gorgeous. Ask for a tour of the different sleeping cabins and homes so you can see them all before making a selection on where to stay. Each is so different and filled with history. Such a hidden gem in Spotsy!

Superb ! A great place to stay with a pet! Private cottages and cabins. Excellent Chef on premises! Walking trail in a lovely spot. Our cottage was the Corn Crib and was updated with lots of light with skylights and updated kitchen and shower area. Great service to the door. Safe during these uncertain times . Masks worn by delivery of your meals to the door. I would recommend more comfort on the bed and pillows. Otherwise a 5 star from me !

Don't know, it's more of a reception hall for weddings and events.
