Hunting is the key word. With wide open spaces. It's a wonderful way to spend a full day if you want. You have to work to get you birds. But its worth every step. Great staff.

Getting our last birds of the season. Took a long time to get out but so many people coming with their family and dogs hunting pheasant to clear out their card for the season. Great chance to visit with other hunters coming from longer distance than us. We're from Danville Ca. People from Granite Bay, San Diego, San Jose, Oakland hills, San Fransisco coming out with family and friends. Social distancing, wearing mask and exchanging stories of working with their dogs, hunting and family and friends engaged with them. We got 4 birds with just 2 shots, lol. Great dogs. Hastings is following all the CDC guidelines. Last great cheeseburger and onion rings of the season from their great kitchen staff. So glad they haven't succumbed to all the covid shutdowns. There are many people that want to see this continue. Well be back❤️🐾🌄

Hi Lisa, Although it is true that you probably do not need a new sponsor, if you haven't been a member for several years, at the very least you will need to attend an orientation session, before your first hunt. I would highly suggest that you call the Club office (707) 678-3325 before simply arriving on site, so that the office can locate your old file and make sure that everything goes smoothly, when you arrive. Also, make sure to purchase your bird card BEFORE October 1st, which is when the cost of the cards increases to the late season price. Lead shot is okay at Hastings, a Zone B Club, until July 2019. After that time you cannot use lead shot for hunting anywhere in the State of California.
I believe it opened in September and they sell 20 bird cards..price varies..short season vs. Longer season..cash vs. credit card.. you need to be referred by a member and sit through an orientation if you become a member..fun place
