So, never thought I would be writing a review for this type of business, this was actually supposed to be my first ever professional mani/pedi. My fiance and I are getting married in 4 days, and we, along with my future mother in law, decided to get a pre-wedding mani-pedi. We invited my mother as well, who unfortunately had to cancel last minute. We arrived 4 minutes late, of which the person at the front desk was not happy about at all. She asked where our fourth (my mother) was - and we told her she had to cancel. She said she told us on the phone that we would be charged full price for same day cancellations. My fiance said she was not informed of this on the phone. The employee at the front desk essentially lost it. They began yelling about how she always states this policy and its on the website. Honestly, the payment was not the issue and not why I am writing a one-star review. I asked her why she was yelling and she got very defensive. The whole situation was actually quite odd. She continued to yell about how my fiance had re-scheduled twice - is this not allowed? Anyways - at this point it was clear no one was going to have a relaxing time. Again - I want to be clear, not once did we say we would not pay for our no-show reservation. It was the rudeness and attitude. Horrible. We all left. On the way out, she shouted "Don't come here if you are going to be so f@#&$ing cheap!" What was supposed to be a fun and relaxing event just a few days prior to our wedding, left us very upset and with no nail service. Not a huge deal honestly, just want to warn my fellow Santa Rosans to not go here. Horrible service. Horrible employees. DO NOT TAKE YOUR BUSINESS HERE.

Me, my mom, and my granny have been here multiple times. They do a good job. But the owner, Helen, is extremely rude. She will talk about you to other customers and workers in front of you. Today, I scheduled to get my acrylics off, I sat down and they started ripping my nails off, it hurt, so I asked if we could just soak them off. Then was told I had to make another appointment if I wanted to get them soaked off. Which is the correct and less harmful way to get them off. Don't go here. They may do a good job, but it's not worth it. There is a smaller, But equally as good place in montgomery village, go there.

IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE LESS THAN ONE STAR I WOULD. I came in for a set of gel acrylics and paid $80 for them even though they were a simple color and had no designs. While doing my nails they didn’t trim my cuticles or even put the acrylic up to my nail bed and then within days of having the nails they began to turn all brown and discolored (none of my other sets from different salons had done this). So I went back into the salon three days after getting them done and very politely asked if they could fix them free of charge or give me a refund because they weren’t cheap and I did nothing wrong and without hesitation the lady working yelled at me said they could fix them but with a charge and that it was all my fault they were brown and that it wasn’t her problem. In conclusion they are very unprofessional and I would rather have ugly undone nails then go back to this place.

Dana is my Favorite Nail Technician. I have Ingrown Toenails and she does a really good job removing them. It doesn't hurt and I've never had an infection at Zen Nails. Helen and Rachel are always very friendly and very efficient. You can experience quality, comfort and exactly what you want at Zen Nails everytime.

I have an issue with them speaking there language and laughing looking It's rude when your doing service on a costumer ignoring them and being so rude
