This is an awesome park! Nice playground, water access, lots of pavilions that can be reserved. They do ask $7/vehicle from out-of-county visitors.

Beautiful at any time. Very clean and well kept. Play area,boat rentals, snacks,picnic area with tables,pavilions and restrooms.

Great park! Excellent facilities. Free to Fauquier residents, $7 to non-county residents. The really nice, floating fishing pier that was there 4 years ago was missing.

Beautiful park and lake which is indeed the reservoir of an earthy dam. Very calm area and nice environment, perfect for walking, jogging, fishing. Even there is a nice area that can use for ceremonyies, wedding, parties etc. …

The paddle boats are very low cost. They start at 6 dollars for the first half hour. And there are options with Canopys. Where you rent the boats, you may also purchase food and drinks.
No it does not, but it does have a volleyball net.
Yes. The park ranger is a resident inside the grounds of the park. I would not risk it.
It is free for fauquier county residents. I think it's $5 dollars for non-residents, but the window is usually only staffed on busy weekend days
People they get there own boats a lot there as for age restrictions I got my 3 years old with me in the boat but I guess you can rent a boat if you are older than 18
