Really enjoyed this rail trail. Some parts even have the rails still in place. Hope to see it extended someday.

We try to waik the trail every Saturday when this old body allows it. It is a great place to walk, lots of shade and places to sit.

The Mount Airy B&O Old Main Line Rails to Trails is a beautiful short walk from Watkins Park to downtown Mount Airy. It’s great they kept some of the rails & didn’t pave the trail.
