We loved our family trip to elmwood park zoo! It’s the perfect little zoo. It’s not intense and too big like other zoo’s. It’s laid back, lots of shade, lots for the kids to do and see. The animals are well kept. You can even grab a beer and while you watch the animals and be the best parent ever. The park inside the zoo is nice and offers something like physical for the kids! Next time we will try the zip line and ropes course!
Mystery Shopper
Cool, big parking, you can feed animals for extra fee (card payment available). Great to spend day with a kids . A lot of entertainment for children. Pretty small territory. But you will see a lot. Party and wedding is an option.

We went on a Friday morning right before it opened. No line cause I bought the tickets in advance online. My 4 year old loved the animals so much. He tells me all the time he wants to come back and see them again. The gift shop was nice lots to pick from. The staff were also very helpful & kind. My son especially loved feeding the giraffes. Will be coming back again in warmer weather.

Great little zoo. Loved seeing the bison. They were up close and you could really get the sense of how big they are. Feeding giraffe is also a great activity for the kids. We'll be going back and it's worth the membership if you're local. The playground is cool as well but can beat little crazy when it's busy.

They answered you correctly.. I only saw a bird house and I believe it has specific hours.. we got lucky and they just let us in before they closed it
Pay at door but order online on special events
3 and under are free!!
Yes, you are free to bring in whatever food that you wish. We ask that you avoid bringing any glass containers or plastic straws as they pose a danger to animals
It's a one time entry fee, but you could use it any day of 2020. It's weird how it's written.

Yes
Student ID Julia, remember international student ID does not count. But a passport should!
Yes you can feed a variety of animals. The giraffe is $3 for members, $4 non members.
I believe there is a discount but I am not sure. We are members of Elmwood and I think we get a discount at The Philly zoo but don't know if it works the other way. Inexpensive at Elmwood and a nice little zoo.
Yes they added a ton of seating around the zoo
$17.95 adult (ages 13-64), $13.95 child (ages 3-12), $12.95 senior (ages 65+) $15.95 student (valid id req)
Yes you can there are certain picnic tables that you can eat at. They are not the ones at the cafe area, these picnic tables are located a little further inside the zoo.
No, memberships purchased online are redeemed when purchasers visit one of our admission windows. We do not mail out membership cards or renewed memberships purchased online.
No

We didn't see it when we went. They are building the new habitat for the sloths.
Your question is not understood
Yes you can just call them
Definitely. There were several couples there when I took the kid. Everything was chill as it should be. Too bad you guys missed the giraffe feeding tho
As stated already, dogs are only allowed on special days. See the link below https://www.elmwoodparkzoo.org/event/dog-days/all/ You have to register in advance and submit shot records for your dog.
$12.50 for adults. And kids under 2 yrs old are free. Thats in general.
Not open as of now.
This is for a single event. Not a membership fee.
Don't need to print, they can scan from your phone. Did this just a few nights ago.
It was open on Saturday. Beautiful!
There is no ticketing staff available on the weekends, I think. They should be open, their lights festival starts at 5. Good luck, we had a blast last sat night!
We have season passes but always call b4 going because they do close if it rains.
It's pretty reasonable. Check the website for exact prices and events. Great zoo and a great trip for the family!
I believe "Some One" answered this one but I'll just add this zoo is very well run and very accommodating but the hours may play into stress on the animals.... Except the giraffes they may want people there 24/7 seeing as how they're all fatties.
Yes and obviously no smoking. They do have alcohol😁
They have a tented picnic area that is very large. Was just there in the rain on Saturday.
36 inch for kids one, and 54 inch for 2 hours one.
No, the giraffes are not out yet.
Animal feeding information for our Giraffes, Bison, and more is posted on our website at https://www.elmwoodparkzoo.org/visit/shows-attractions/. Feedings are subject to the weather and availability. We suggest you call 610.277.3825 x 222 to confirm their operation.
No. Only the adult or adults named in the membership and who can present valid photo ID can use the Membership.
I do not believe the zoo holds wolves any longer.
No. The closest elephants at accredited zoos now are the National Zoo at Washington, and Pittsburgh
Tickets are priced for members and non-members: Non-Members: $17.95 (adults) $13.95 (age 3-12) $12.95 (age 65+) $15.95 (Students with ID)
Walk. Once inside, the zoo rents battery powered cars for people who have difficulty walking.
Not disabled but sick and ones that are unable to go back into the wild
In the barn, you can pet the goats and sheep!. However, since most of the animals are wild, they are in enclosures thst prevent interaction.
From thr website: Guests may request a complimentary wheelchair upon their arrival at the Admissions counter. Today is free but I think u have be there at 1 or 2
Elmwood Park Zoo was established in 1924 when a local farmer transferred 16 acres and a small menagerie to the Borough of Norristown.
Elmwood Park Zoo is open daily, rain or shine. Treetop Adventures is also open rain or shine, but does close during thunderstorms.
Probably at the main office. Where the gift shop is, not ticket sales.
Yes its open and yes you will
Yes, they were there last weekend and are always on location, just may not be outside. Feed them last week
Call first
$8.95 child, $10.95 for an adult in the winter. Add four and six dollars respectively for non-winter rates.
YES, but some animals not "available" during cold months, like giraffe....
We did winter rates, so it was 11 for the adults, 9 for kids three and up. Five more dollars if you want to feed the bison or giraffe, which I recommend.
Yes as well as membership passes
Yearly passes are typically more money than that, so it sounds like a one time pass..although 15$seems high for a single student
A Grandparent Membership is: Membership benefits for two named grandparents (in the same household) and up to six grandchildren under the age of 18 per visit. The number of children admitted with each visit is not to exceed the number indicated on the membership. I am assuming it also includes all discounts and offers available to a typical membership as well.
They had a red Panda, but not a black and white one. The red Panda was moved from it's exhibit to so renovation and was not available.
Not today
