Elmwood Park Zoo is open daily, rain or shine. Treetop Adventures is also open rain or shine, but does close during thunderstorms.
Though it stay open during the rain, you'll only enjoy limited services.
Last Sunday they closed at 3pm due to continuing rain...anything covered still runs in rain.....we did bumper cars about 10 times....then merry go round about 6 times before we left. Its a great place for little kids...9 and under....they have added some older kid rollercoasters.....you can't tske food in so be ready for $10 sandwiches or salads...but ours are 2,4,6 yrs old and we come every year.

Been there during the rain b4. They stayed open, but I am sure the ropes courses will be closed if it is raining.
When we went it was open they only closed the ziplines when it started to rain
Not sure if they close, but stuff you can do will be limited when it rains; most activities are outside...
No stays up till normal hours. Just might be limited animals out.
