They answered you correctly.. I only saw a bird house and I believe it has specific hours.. we got lucky and they just let us in before they closed it

No, we do not currently have a butterfly house. The site of our former butterfly house and free-flight birds exhibit is now home to our new sloth and other new-to-the-zoo species. The enclosure is not open yet (as of October 2021) but will be opening soon.
Although there is not, the bird house is very nice and you can even feed the birds, and they can land on you!
