I made an appointment and it was so much faster. The customer service is great and friendly. The only problem is xfinity took away some of what they can do in the store.

The store is a pretty busy place. The staff is friendly, although not overly. They don't appear to care one way or the other if they have your business or not.

Yes! Comast has senior hours (the first 30 minutes) after opening on: -Tuesday's -Wednesday's -Thursday's The ages are 60+
Yup you are correct, calls go to a call center so the agents at the service centers can direct thier attention to the poeple who go in.
Xfinity now provides Internet Essentials for qualified, low-income customers. It's 9.95 a month for internet service. I have a Roku hooked up to my TV and I couldn't be happier. No more cable bill! Thank you, Comcast!
If you have to pay a bill you can got to a teller machine inside the facility. You do not have to wait in line. I had called the customer service line to order what I needed and just walked right in and picked up my equipment. It made everything go smoother.

I would reach out to them 2 weeks in advance. They may have you go down and pick up new equipment and install it once you relocate. They change their protocols from time to time but they are getting better, faster with moving services.
Just drop it as is. Make sure you also return cords if any.
You can return your box for an upgrade. Let them know the remote was lost. They'll replace for free.
