Watch out for Dr Emanuel During. Did not read my medical history and made a bunch of excuses for not helping me. What a waste of time.

My mom was misdiagnosed as the doctor who was supposed to do EMG had her assistant do that. The physician even played with her cell phone during this important test. The misdiagnosis resulted in the following unnecessary surgery and significantly delayed the correct diagnosis and treatments. My mom has a fatal neurodegenerative disease. Her muscle weakness progressed pretty fast and she missed the best treatment time because of the misdiagnosis. The facility looks good from the outside but the quality of their care sucks.

Had appointment here today. In general, I find that some doctors listen to their patients and other doctors do not listen. At this clinic the doctor I had an appointment with struggled to listen to me. It appeared she could not understand my perspective. It was a frustrating appointment and will never come back to see her. Stanford doctors in general need to get better training in better communication and understanding the patient’s experience and patient concerns. It’s like if you do not fit in to their box then they are at a lost. Hope the director of this clinic can help and guide some of these doctors with their interpersonal skills.

Stanford Neurology primarily communicates through the MyHealth app. You can ask them or talk to your Dr. /Neurologist through the app for the cd.and request it. I am sure they will provide it.

my wife is driving me down to the neurology clinic and needs to rest, use the restrooms, while I am examined over several hours. Where can she rest, and wait for me?

They did let mine come in to use the restroom. They just gave her a mask for over her cloth mask. Maybe not great for many hours, but there's an outside mall across from the center.

Was in a car accident a year ago.... no one from Santa Barbara to the Central Coast of California can tell me why I’m nauseous, dizzy and have balance problems. I’m wondering if I should see a neurologist in Stanford. Also have tingling and numbness

I would give it a try. Human brain is so complicated - hard to be sure. They have a lot of equipment.

can you find my patient number?
