Marlon is hands down the best manager and salesperson I have ever worked with when leasing a car. I have leased three cars now, and most times I left feeling overwhelmed and manipulated. Marlon took time to figure out what car would work best for me with what was available and worked within my budget. I have historically felt taken advantage of in these situations (especially as a woman), but he went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and heard. I love my car, and I am so happy with the service and general atmosphere of this branch. 10/10 would work with Marlon again and come back to Downtown Toyota of Oakland!

At first, reading some reviews of this place, my expectations were not high, however, going in and actually working through the whole process, I was beyond impressed. Specifically, Jonathan Dixon, he was personable, helpful, friendly, and everything you can hope for when you go to a car dealership. He worked through many of our issues and concerns, and answered every single question we had fully. If you are ever in the market to buy a car, I highly suggest looking at this dealer and working with Jonathan. He was amazing.

I had a good experience purchasing my new Toyota at Downtown Toyota of Oakland. The staff were extremely knowledgeable as well as professional. This is my third car that I have purchased from this dealership and it has always been a great experience. Abdul the finance manager is great to work with and I always have requested him to complete my transactions. Its a car dealership, not something i am accustomed to ranking. But, i will say this, with the current economy and what is occurring in the car sales industry right now, they get 4 stars when i normally would have given them 3. The reason: after visiting several other dealerships, Toyota of Oakland, which was easy to get to from the Peninsula, actually had the car we were interested in their show room AND we could take one for a test drive - shocking! Salesman Jerry was engaged, professional and not the least bit pushy.
