Santa Cruzโs Historic Art Deco movie palace is one of Pacific Avenueโs last unspoiled gems. Current management has done a reasonably decent job of retaining the original flavor created by Jim Schwenterly and his partner Chuck V. If youโre part of the dwindling number of townsfolk who grew up here and still attend regularly the Delmar and Nick will always retain a magical spot in your heart ๐ค In case you were wondering screenings still lean mostly toward alternative film but less so since Landmark took control. *Waiting in great anticipation for the reopening of the Nickelodeon ๐ค๐ผ

One of the few independent movie theaters left; shows great films, is comfortable and seems safe.

Beautiful movie theatre. Make sure to make it on time since they don't play commercials before the movie starts.

Beautiful Art Deco movie theater in downtown Santa Cruz. Check out the gorgeous ceilings and tile work all over the theater. We saw Royal Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew here recently, and it was a fun crowd. We appreciated that the popcorn had real butter (just like in the olden days! lol). Like many old theaters, the seats could use some extra padding. The restrooms made us laugh as they seem to have been transplanted from a kids summer camp.

When you get to box office. They don't sell tix on Fandango.
Almost always Indy film, check the website for the most current information.
We should support this historic theater-we should not worry when it will open-it will open when our poor and poverty environment is once again safe-from pen pal landmark theaters michael-allen duff over-by Santa Cruz county CA USA ๐นโ๏ธ๐๏ธ๐บ๐ธโ๏ธ
Hi Susan, the companion seats at the top of the auditorium are priority seating for people needing handicap seating. There are 5 companion seats available in the auditorium. While weโre not able to reserve them, we are able to limit them to only people needing handicap seating. Iโve let the manager in duty know that youโll need two of the seats. I hope you enjoy the show, Scott
$8.50 for seniors.
The weekend of August 10th. It was really good.
There are nearly always good seats available last minute except special engagements. Seating is first come, not assigned. Afternoon shows are usually light.
Yes, assuming you mean the " Movie Pass".
