To give them a fair shake, I've frequented the establishment on Bear Road since I moved here in July. Their service was pretty good. Lately though, I'm honestly shocked they are still in business. I've made two attempts at getting my haircut. The first attempt was at 5:20pm. Their sign states open 9-7 M-S. I go in and they tell me that sorry, no one wants to work after 5 so they changed their hours. Okay... it takes a whopping 2 mins to change the sign outside that already states "New Hours". So I took a half hour off of work so that I could try again. I show up at 4:40. I was stopped before I ever got in the door and was mimed through the window that they were closing at 5 and they wouldn't cut my hair. Frankly with the whole "all small businesses are suffering in this pandemic", they sure are making it a whole lot harder to stay open. I can't leave my job to get a haircut especially because I fortunately still have a job. I would have appreciated way more professionalism. It's really unfortunate because I really go out of my way to leave larger tips for the hairdressers as I know they are hurting just as bad as the next. I would probably recommend looking for alternate locations at this point if you work normal business hours.
