This review is past due. John's of La Mesa has recently repaired and/or diagnosed 3 of our family cars. Bringing in my 2001 Ford Expedition next. Hoping the guys can bring her back to life. Kudos to Brian the Service Advisor. This guy is thorough, transparent, friendly, and honest. What a refreshing experience! Perfect example of how to to run a customer-first business.

Had my water pump, fan belt, radiator and a few other things go out while in San Diego, 8 hours from home. Happened on a Sunday and the guys had my truck ready by Thursday. They were very professional and reassuring in what was an irritating and stressful couple of days. Made it home with no further issues. Expedient and affordable, all things considered. Next time I break down in San Diego I’ll be visiting them again.

I went here because they have great reviews. They did not disappoint. They took my car and even gave me a service ride home and back. They explained all the “needs” of my car and worked on the items we approved to keep our car safe. They looked out for us and had notes from a previous visit at the other location. They were well informed, professional and hard working people here. This is a small business that truly takes pride in customer service. Thank you Jay!

My wife and I have been bringing our cars to these guys for over 5 years. They do excellent work, don't try to sell you anything you don't need, and deliver top tier customer service. Brian and Jay are very friendly and professional. My wife and I are moving away from SD, and they offered to help us find a new trustworthy mechanic, and transfer over our repair history once we get settled in our new location. Who does that!? These guys.

I saw a place with some toys or some things for kids in a corner space. This way the children won't be just out in the open. I thought it was a really good idea. My youngest is 19 so I didn't analyze it, but I did note how nice it looked.
I am sorry but we do not have an Optical Headlight Aiming machine.
Yes it does have a night drop and an after hours pick up. The night drop box is near the front door. You open the night drop box and fill out an envelope, put the keys in the envelope and drop it in the slot.
